This is a nicely organized guide geared for the beginner to intermediate level investor. It is clearly written and gives most of the more solid and less risky principles of investment. The most important contribution this book gives is that it clearly shows how to evaluate the profitability of a company in detail. Whatever kind of investor you are, if you don't know how to do this then scratch the word investing and use gambling to describe your stock market strategy.

It is a good guide which I can understand small- stocks and its' investing.

Lord Burlington: Art, Architecture and Life is an attempt to unravel the life of one of England's most celebrated eighteenth century architects. However, Jane Clark's hypothesis that Burlington was infact a secret Jacobite with links to the exiled Old Pretender is pure rubbish. Clark's chapter, 'Lord Burlington is here', is full of unsupported supposition and amateurish guesswork that is quite frankly bad history.
